Registration fees includes admittance to one course, the HILT Ignite and Social, and a HILT swag bag as well as breakfast and lunch in our campus dining hall.

Housing

IUPUI Campus Housing will be offered for an additional fee in our Tower Hall:

Double Occupancy Room (price per person): $345 total
Single Occupancy Room (price per person): $575 total
ADA-compliant single occupancy room (price per person): $575 total

Housing fees include access to your assigned room from Sunday, July 26th (3 pm) to Saturday, August 1st (10 am), linens, access to the Tower fitness room, as well as breakfast and lunch in our campus dining facilities. Parking

Discounted parking passes are available for the week of the event at a cost of $45 per pass.

Discounts

This year, we are offering a number of discounts for friends of HILT:

  • Group Discounts: Any group of 5 who register together are eligible for a 25% discount.
  • Sponsored Student Scholarships are available to full-time enrolled students, early career scholars (terminal degree within 5 years), and current employees of galleries, archives, and museums. You MUST apply for (and be notified that you have received) a scholarship prior to beginning registration. You will be provided with a registration code to complete registration to receive the scholarship discount of $250.  You will be provided with a registration code to complete registration to receive the scholarship discount of $250. Adjusted fees will be $275 (students) and $525 (early career scholars or cultural heritage professionals). There are a limited number of sponsored student scholarships. They will be awarded on a rolling-basis until exhausted.

*Scholarships for 2015 have been exhausted. Please check back in 2016.

Housing

Note on housing during the week of July 27-31, 2015: Indianapolis will be hosting the Brickyard 400 on the Sunday prior (the 26th) as well as the Gen Con Gaming Convention (Thursday, July 30- August 2). As such, local hotels may be difficult to book.

IUPUI will assign HILT participants who elect to stay in dormitory housing to  the Tower Living apartments. Please be aware that dormitories are no-frills accommodations and require you to walk to the classroom buildings. It is expected that participants electing to stay in dormitory housing recognize this aspect of their stay. Pro-rating of dormitory stays are not possible.

The Tower Apartments
The Tower, located in the heart of the IUPUI campus at 850 W. Michigan St, will feature double occupancy rooms with on-suite bath. The Tower Apartments are a 5 minute walk to the classroom buildings and a 10-15 minute walk to special event locations.

Tower furnishings include:
• Bedroom: twin-size bed, desk, chair, dresser

All dormitory rooms are non-smoking. You will be provided with clean linens to make your own bed, access to the Tower fitness room, as well as breakfast and lunch in our campus dining hall. Roommate Selection
Participants are welcome to provide the name of a preferred roommate when booking their housing. We will do our best to accommodate roommate preference.
